United Airlines has secured a higher-weight version of the Boeing 787-10, adding both extra range and payload capability to the airframe.
The shift strengthens the carrier's fleet math enough to rival the Airbus A350. Crucially, the added performance expands the map for United, creating opportunities to deploy its largest Dreamliner on routes previously out of reach.
