Business class flights for Antarctica cruises

The Antarctic season runs November to March. Most expedition ships sail from Ushuaia at the tip of Argentina, and nearly every line includes the last leg: a night in Buenos Aires and a charter flight south. The flight you need is the long one — North America to Buenos Aires — and back.

Which lines include the Ushuaia charter
Seabourn includes a pre-cruise hotel in Buenos Aires and the round-trip charter to Ushuaia on all 19 of its 2026–27 departures. Viking, HX (Hurtigruten Expeditions) and Ponant also include the Buenos Aires night and flights to Ushuaia. Quark sells it as a separate mandatory transfer package.
Silversea is different
From the 2026 season Silversea flies its guests via Santiago, Chile, to Puerto Williams and its own hotel there, then on to the ship — so Silversea guests fly to Santiago (SCL), not Buenos Aires.
Buenos Aires airports
International flights land at Ezeiza (EZE). Charters to Ushuaia usually leave from Aeroparque (AEP), about 45–60 minutes away off-peak and up to 90 minutes in traffic — which is why the lines build in a hotel night.

Frequently Asked Questions

Question 01

Do I need to book the flight to Ushuaia myself?

Usually not. Seabourn, Viking, HX and Ponant include the charter from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia; Quark sells it as a required add-on. What you book is the flight from North America to Buenos Aires and home.
