- Airlines offering beds

Air New Zealand first proved that economy rows could double as beds with its Skycouch. Today, six airlines offer similar lie-flat sleep products in the back of the plane.
These converted rows allow long-haul travellers to lie flat across multiple seats for a fraction of what a business class seat commands. As more carriers emulate the design, horizontal rest is no longer exclusive to the forward cabins.
