Few premium setups drew more traveler groans than seven seats squeezed across a business cabin. Emirates has now officially closed the door on that 2-3-2 arrangement across its flights to and from the United States.

In its place, the airline has introduced a much more modern cabin product. The shift puts an end to seven-abreast seating on US routes, clearing away the dreaded middle seat for premium flyers.
