Boeing took the lead in the widebody market during the first half of 2026, outdelivering rival Airbus in long-haul aircraft.

Between January and June, Boeing handed over 35 of its 787-9 Dreamliners to customers. Airbus, meanwhile, logged 20 deliveries of its competing A350-900 over the identical timeframe.
