American Express is reshaping its Centurion Lounge footprint across key hubs. At Newark, the planned space is expanding to more than 30,000 square feet, though its opening has shifted back to 2027. Meanwhile, London Heathrow is set to add a Terminal 5 location in 2028.
Travellers passing through Houston and Philadelphia can also expect larger footprints and improved food offerings. In Philadelphia, however, those upgrades require a substantial downtime: the lounge closes on October 16 for construction running into late 2027.
