American Airlines is widening its satellite internet plans to encompass its entire mainline fleet. Building on an Airbus rollout announced in May, the carrier now plans to install Starlink across its Boeing 737s, 777s, and 787s.

The broader program covers roughly 1,000 aircraft, bringing long-haul widebodies into the upgrade cycle. Installations are slated to begin in early 2027, though the airline has not announced a target completion date.
