Alaska Airlines is stretching its long-haul reach next year with new nonstop routes connecting Seattle to both Osaka and Tahiti.
The flights will be operated with Airbus A330 aircraft sourced from Hawaiian Airlines. The arrangement sends Hawaiian widebodies well away from their home islands, shuttling passengers directly between the Pacific Northwest, Japan, and French Polynesia without a stop in Hawaii.
